Returns and Exchanges

Our No Hassle Return policy gives you peace of mind to enjoy the purchase in your home for up to 45 days.

We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. If, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with your selection, please return it within 45 days. We will exchange it or refund the merchandise price, plus any applicable sales tax.

We make returns easy! Simply follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed with your order and send it to:

Send your return to us via the shipper of your choice; you pay for postage at the point of return.

Processing/shipping charges and freight surcharges are non-refundable. However, if the return is the result of our error, we will pay the original and return fees. To submit a request for this, please contact us. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your refund. A return received after 45 days (but within 90 days) qualifies for merchandise credit or exchange only. Merchandise must be returned in original condition. Items purchased at Home Decorators Collection cannot be returned to The Home Depot.

Shipment refusal for reasons other than damage, defect or mis-shipment may result in a 25% refusal penalty fee.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Home Decorators Collection will do everything possible to accommodate order changes and cancellations. However, to provide the best service possible most in stock orders are processed immediately. If your order has already been processed or has already left our warehouse we are unable to stop or make any order adjustments.

Damaged or Incorrect Order

If you have received a damaged or defective item, please refer to our return & exchange policy, then email us or call 1-877-537-8539 (toll-free from the United States) with information as to what is wrong with the item and whether you are requesting an exchange or a refund. Please include your order number.


Once a returned item has been received at our distribution center, it will take 7 to 10 business days to receive your refund. If you have a question about your refund, please email us or call 1-877-537-8539 (toll-free from the United States).
